We all had a great time playing this game! The gameplay is reminiscent of the classic card game War, making it easy for my 6-year-old to follow along with just a little help reading the “instant” cards, which she pretty much memorized by our third round. My older boys, aged 10 and 12, have been taking the game to school to enjoy during recess every day since we got it! They love the “cute but kind of evil” themes that these games have, and I find them adorably funny! The games wrap up quickly, so we like to do “best-out-of-three” sessions to give everyone a chance to win! There’s also a gameplay tutorial available on YouTube for anyone who finds the rule book a bit confusing. I highly recommend this game and plan to check out some of the others!

We even had to look online for confirmations that could have been addressed in the manual. It’s a minor issue, but still worth mentioning. Overall, it’s a fantastic game!

We received the package two days after Christmas, but that didn’t matter. It was an excellent addition to our game collection; it’s easy to learn and incredibly fun. This starter pack version is for 2 to 4 players, so we had to leave one player out, but they could act as the dealer or moderator. We played with a 9-year-old and my in-laws in their 60s, and we all had a blast. The younger players can learn about strategies too. We will definitely be ordering the expansion packs. One thing to note is that if you don’t have a slightly sarcastic sense of humor or are very sensitive, it might be better to look for other options. Some reviews complain that it’s “negative and causes psychological harm,” but I personally think that’s an exaggeration and you have to be overly sensitive to feel that way. However, every family is different. The artwork on the boards and cards is very eye-catching, and the material and quality are excellent. The rules are straightforward, and there are many tutorials on YouTube to assist with gameplay. The game is in English, but I think having one person with basic knowledge who can explain it to the others is sufficient.
